[02 Feb 2006|09:39am] I am basically keeping this in my journal so that I can remember what happened in the hospital. My cycts are small and my gynecologist did a laproscopy. He found that the cycts were in fact small, although one did rupture. They cleaned out all the fluid from it that was in my uterus. They did go through the belly button or near it and there are two small incisions on my belly. I feel very comfortable with my gynecologist But it is ok and my other doctor/surgeon, I can never get his last name right its like Rasmati i think, he is awesome and he took over the appendix removal. I was in very good hands. Now at home, I am in excellent hands. Herb is taking amaing care of me. It is hard to get up or lie down so he bought that pillow that is called a "husband" or something, but it basically wraps around you and is very comfortable. I have my legs up on an ottoman and this setup makes it much easier to get up rather than get up from a lying down position. The doctors and the hospital ssay I should walk when i can, but not to lifft anything, not even a grocery bag. I am truly following orders and Herb is making sure that I am as comfortable as I can be. Thank you once again for your information you sent me and do not worry. I may be in pain, but I know it is from the surgery and I will be better. until tomorrow

[01 Feb 2006|05:57pm] Well, I thought the worst was over. On Tuesday morning I went and saw my gynecologist Dr.Mann in his office at 8:30am. He felt around my abdomen and we found that not only was my pain growing, but it had moved up higher. He then told us I needed surgery, no fun at all. 5:00 pm I had my surgery. The fluid that my ruptured cyst was taken out of my uterus. They also took out my appendix. I got out of the hospital around 3:00pm today. My body is in horrible pain and it sucks being this weak and sore. They have me on pain killers and it helps, but when I bend or get up I am in severe pain. I cannot wait to heal and get better. Herb is amazing. He was with me the whole time. I love him so much. He is taking the best care of me. So, all I need is to heal and I will be back to "normal", i hope. The continuing adventures of me... [28 Jan 2006|11:17am] Monday-went to doctor, was told I had to get CatScan, diagnosed with Dyvaticulitis. Tuesday-went to hospital at 9am to get nasty drink for CatScan, got catScan at 12, waited 2 hours for results because Radiologist did not know we were waiting, diagnoses me with Appendicitis, tells me to go back to doctor, go back to doctor doctor isnothere, nurse tells us to go to Emergency room, wait for hours in emergency room, get hooked onto iv, get saline and Morphine, talk to many doctors, another CatScan, Sonogram, another sonogram, diagnosed with Sists on my ovary. Basically I have sists on my ovary, one ruptured, blood got into my cervix and infected it, admitted into hospital so they can watch my appendix. Wednesday- told they had to remove my ovary, I call Herb back in a panic, he comes within 2 minutes and I am let out around 10:30. Go to new gynecologist I met in hospital, Dr.Mann at 12:00. He takes cultures and whatnot, buts me on bedrest with medicine and painkillers. I am not able to go to work til I see him for our next appointment that is on Tuesday. I get dizzy when I walk or get up and can't sleep at night cause of the pain. I did a little laundry on thursday and I paid for it. Nausea and dizzyness like you wouldnt believe. Herb is taking excellent care of me. 8 shine on until tomorrow
